13. UniKL FiND – Foundation and Diploma Studies (Kuala Lumpur) – preparatory programs (Foundation) and diploma courses.

Each UniKL campus is a modern educational center equipped with specialized laboratories, workshops, IT clusters and engineering sites that simulate a real industrial or medical environment.
Educational levels and directions
UniKL offers over 140 study programmes covering a wide range of disciplines:
Preparatory courses (Foundation)
Ideal for those who have completed 11th grade and are planning to enroll in a bachelor’s degree in the fields of science, engineering or medicine.
Diploma programs
Practice-oriented, with an emphasis on IT, engineering, multimedia and other applied areas.
Bachelor’s Degree
Programs lasting 3-5 years include:
  • Information technology and cybersecurity;
  • Engineering technologies;
  • Aviation and Marine Engineering;
  • Medicine and pharmacy;
  • Business and finance;
  • Design and multimedia.
Master’s and PhD
Advanced research and applied projects in engineering, healthcare, management and other fields.
Main dates of admission:
  • Foundation / Diploma / Bachelor: January, July, sometimes September.
  • Postgraduate: January, July (possibly September – depends on the program).
 
Internships, exchanges and international cooperation
Internship is a mandatory part of most programs (3 to 6 months). Students complete internships in leading companies such as Petronas , AirAsia , Siemens , Telekom Malaysia and others.
UniKL also offers:

  • Exchanges through the ISEM program.
The ISEM (International Student Exchange Mobility) programme at Universiti Kuala Lumpur (UniKL) is an official international student exchange programme that allows UniKL students to study abroad and international students to come to UniKL for a semester or short-term study.
UniKL has partnership agreements with universities in:
  • France (for example, INSA Toulouse);
  • Spain (for example, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid);

For international students
Requirements:
  • Completion of school (grade 11) – mandatory admission through the Foundation.
  • Proof of English language proficiency (IELTS 5.0–6.0, TOEFL or MUET).
In the absence of a certificate, the student is sent to intensive language training E-LIP .
Required documents:
  • Certificate and transcript of grades;
  • Copy of passport;
  • English certificate;
  • Medical certificate and insurance;
  • Proof of financial solvency;
  • Photo;
  • Application form.
 
Tuition fees (average):
Foundation: ~RM 7,500, duration – 1 year.
IT Diploma: ~RM 27,000, duration – 2.5 years.
Bachelor IT: ~RM 54,000, duration – 3.5 years.
Bachelor Computer Engineering: ~RM 60,000, duration 4 years.
MBBS (Medicine): ~RM 300,000, Duration 5 years.
 
Registration and visa fees: RM 5,000–6,500 in total. Additional charges: uniform, medical examination, deposit, student fee.
 
Accommodation
UniKL provides comfortable living conditions both on and off campus:
Dormitory:
  • RM 120-150/month (4 persons per room)
UniPark Condo:
  • With air conditioning: RM 420–700/month.
  • Without air conditioning: RM 275–610/month.
Off campus:
2 bedroom apartment: RM 600–1,000/month.
  • Utilities and Internet: RM 150–300/month.
Personal expenses:
  • Power: RM 600–9RM.
  • Transportation: RM 100–200.
  • Communication and Internet: RM 50–150.
  • Other: RM 200–400.
